Temp File Accumulation Causing Memory Corruption on Windows

Resolved 💬 4 comments Opened Sep 24, 2025 by mayapos Closed Jan 7, 2026

Bug Description
:

  • 65,000+ orphaned temp files causing memory corruption
  • Raw mode/Ink rendering errors making CLI unusable
  • Persistent old memory across sessions
  • Complete claude doctor command failure

The nuclear fix removed all temp files and corrupted configs, restoring normal function. This likely affects all
long-term Windows users and needs immediate attention from the Claude Code team.
