Suggested next steps (ghost text hint) still missing on 2.1.211 stable

Confirming this is still broken on the latest stable release.

Version: 2.1.211 (stable channel, claude update reports up to date)

Steps checked:

• showSuggestedNextSteps is not set anywhere in ~/.claude/settings.json, project .claude/settings.json, or .claude/settings.local.json — so it's not a local config override.
• Confirmed via #34211 that the settings key is now a dead no-op in the compiled cli.js.

The dimmed contextual hint after a response (e.g. "Try running the tests") no longer appears at all — only the static ? for shortcuts footer shows. Would be great to get this restored, or at least get an official acknowledgement/roadmap note on #34211 since it's currently closed as duplicate with no visible parent tracking issue.
