Response time too long for simple reminder query

When asking for a simple reminder about Sunday tasks, Claude Code performed multiple unnecessary searches before providing the answer. The response should have been immediate based on existing context/commitments.

User query:
'remind me what I should focus on tomorrow/Sunday? (especially the "Contract Review Benchmark" documents! (procrastinating))'

Issue:

• Multiple journal searches were performed sequentially
• TodoWrite tool was invoked unnecessarily
• Response took too long for what should be a quick reminder

Expected behavior:
Quick, direct response listing the priority tasks without extensive searching when the information is already known from commitments.
