[BUG] Options 1,2,3. Sometimes you press 2 for NO and sometimes for YES-ALWAYS.

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

It seems counter-intuitive and wastes cognitive effort that the options change periodically. The worst of these is where 2 radically changes meaning, where;

1 - yes
2 - super yes or no
3 - usually no, occasionally other options.

What Should Happen?

Suggest that direction options that are equivalent or of equal value should be;

1, 2, 3, 4

But the standard options, to avoid conflict should always be fixed;

y) - Yes
a) - yes Always
n) - No

And then you've an option for
a) - Aways
n - never
