Make double-press Ctrl+C/Ctrl+D exit confirmation configurable

Recent versions require pressing Ctrl+C (or Ctrl+D) twice within 800ms to exit, with no way to opt out.
Please make this configurable — e.g. a setting like exitConfirmation: false in settings.json, or a rebindable app:exit action in keybindings.json — so users who prefer the previous single-press exit behavior can restore it.

I'd also like at least a option for single-pressed exit behavior, too.
In virtually every other terminal application (shells, REPLs like python, node, psql, etc.), Ctrl+D exits on a single press when there's no input on the line. Because Claude Code deviates from this convention, users who switch frequently between Claude Code and other terminal tools end up building the muscle memory to double-tap Ctrl+D everywhere. This causes accidental single-press exits to fail as expected in Claude Code, but far worse, it causes accidental double-presses in other apps/shells, which can unexpectedly close an entire terminal tab/window — losing scrollback, running processes, or unsaved context.
I'm also looking for a configuration option.. This has also been requested in https://github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues/14027 which is more than half a year old at this point :/
Also looking for this. Besides, sessions are easy to resume even if you do close it accidentally.
