Bug: Claude Desktop App Crashes in Loop When Accessing Chat with HTML Artifact
Description
The Claude Desktop app enters a continuous crash/restart cycle when attempting to access a specific chat containing an HTML artifact. The app becomes completely unusable for that chat, restarting every second indefinitely.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create HTML artifact in Claude Desktop app (in this case, a commission calculator)
- Navigate away from the chat
- Return to the chat containing the HTML artifact
- App immediately begins crash/restart loop
Expected Behavior
Chat should load normally and display HTML artifact without affecting app stability.
Actual Behavior
Desktop app crashes and restarts continuously (every ~1 second) making the chat completely inaccessible.
