[BUG] Usage limit being reached WAY TOO QUICKLY

Resolved 💬 6 comments Opened Sep 14, 2025 by simbo1984 Closed Jan 11, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

I'm a Pro user and today I did only 1 request (and it wasn't even something complicated) before reaching the limit. It's frustrating to say the least...I tried sending feedback thru Claude Code directly but it did not work (the automatic GitHub issue creation neither).

What Should Happen?

It should at least let me work a little bit before reaching this limit. I feel like it's getting worse recently...

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

The last prompt I did yesterday (before reaching that damn limit) was :
Can you find ways to optimize CLAUDE.md in order to make you're job easier

He came back with a plan, I then replied :
Let's go with that.

This morning, I resume saying : Continue to work on it

When it was done, the limit was reached (like, what the hell).

Additional Information

I cannot share anything because it contains sensible data but I can say that the outcome was 5 Markdown files and modifications to CLAUDE.md. That's about it.
