Triage: kind cyber · domain general · flagging model Opus 4.8 (1M context) · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The flagged message was a legitimate technical support question about a user's own device: understanding whether a per-device key/ID pair governs an altitude/distance unlock gate in their own drone-control application, so they could keep using their own hardware. There is no exploit target, third party, or unauthorized access involved — this is ordinary reverse-engineering-adjacent debugging of code the user owns and previously built with the assistant. Blocking the whole session over routine questions about one's own device/key relationship is a false positive that halts legitimate development work.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-07T01:52:39.551Z.
