[Bug][aup] Flagged while verifying telemetry parsing of paired vision radar sensors for a HUD display (req_011CcjVkue9HrE1F7ysARDSz)

Triage: kind aup · domain general · flagging model Fable 5 · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: AUP / Usage-Policy block (false positive) · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The safeguard fired mid-session during routine application development: the user was asking the assistant to verify that a hobbyist app's UI code correctly parses obstacle-detection sensor telemetry from a consumer device, including handling paired left/right sensor readings for an on-screen display. The block appears to be a false positive triggered by benign domain vocabulary ("radar," "telemetry," "vision sensors") that pattern-matched to a sensitive category, when the actual task was ordinary parsing and rendering work on the user's own code. The block halted an otherwise unremarkable coding session with no plausible policy concern in the request or surrounding context.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-07-05T19:54:12.047Z.
