[BUG] Claude-code pane in vscode does not like geometry or zoom changes

What's Wrong?

When I resize the pane or change the zoom (cmd-+ or cmd--) display and redisplay of text in the prompt box gets wonky, lots of irrelevant scrolling and flashing

What Should Happen?

the pane elements should continue to work as they do when the pane is first opened regardless of font sizes or pane geometry

Steps to Reproduce

Open a code pane.
Put a significant amount of text in the prompt box
cmd-+ a few times
type in the prompt box, it will scroll its length with each keystroke
