[Bug] Silent model substitution to non-selected model despite Max plan subscription

**Bug Description**
▎ I had upgraded to the Max plan that same day — I paid for the top tier specifically to continue this production work, and the silent substitution to a model I did not choose happened regardless. Payment at the highest tier did not buy even a notification, let alone consent.
