[Bug] Claude Code overwrites active configuration on session start without user consent

Bug Description
I was cut off last Tuesday from Anthropic access. More then half of my monthly alotment was spent fixing wounds created by anthropic models. Thats the last time that is happening. I changed my model standard and will be using Gemini for my OpenClaw moving forward. Everything was functioning to my satisfaction until Claude Code rewrote my running config when the session started today. Look at the transcript. I asked Code to restore the previous running config and then I had to ask several times to complete the request. Code is not trusted and represents risk. Priveleges are revoked.
