How to Use MCP Tools with Claude API Key Without Claude Desktop?

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to understand how I can use MCP tools without needing Claude Desktop. Is it possible to use MCP with just a Claude API key? If so, could someone please guide me or share a general idea of how to set that up?
