Problem Statement

Title: Option to completely hide thinking blocks in desktop app UI

Body:

The showThinkingSummaries: false setting hides summaries but does not hide the thinking blocks themselves. There is currently no way to completely disable the display of thinking/reasoning blocks in the desktop app UI.

Expected behavior: A setting to completely hide thinking blocks from the conversation view.

Current behavior: Thinking blocks are always visible. Double-clicking expands them, but there is no way to hide them entirely.

Environment: Claude Code desktop app, Windows 11

Proposed Solution

Add a setting (e.g. hideThinkingBlocks: true in settings.json) that completely hides thinking/reasoning blocks from the conversation UI
