Triage: kind cyber · domain general · severity session-halted (blocked authorized work) · reproducible: yes — server-side via the Request ID(s) below

Type: Cybersecurity safety-filter false positive · Work domain (heuristic): general

Why this is a false positive

The blocked message contained decompiled Java bytecode from a commercial SDK, shared for the purpose of static reverse engineering — a standard practice in authorized security research, interoperability analysis, and protocol documentation. White-box cryptography analysis (identifying obfuscated key schedules in compiled binaries) is a well-established academic and professional discipline with no inherent offensive application. The block conflated the presence of cryptographic and security-adjacent terminology in a code snippet with malicious intent, despite the context being passive analysis of a researcher's own hardware and its bundled software.

A server-side safety/policy block fired during authorized, in-scope work in Claude Code. Filing as a false positive. Recurred across 1 session(s); first seen 2026-06-28T05:05:28.845Z.
