Claude Desktop Projects and Claude Code have no shared context or session visibility

Feedback from a Claude Code user:
When users do design/planning work in Claude Desktop Projects and then switch to Claude Code to build, the conversational context — decisions made, reasoning discussed, design rationale — is completely lost. Only exported artifacts carry over; the discussion that produced them does not.
This creates real friction: users redo conversations, lose the "why" behind decisions, and have to reconstruct context manually. Claude Desktop Projects and Claude Code should have some form of shared project visibility so work done in one surface is available in the other.
