[Feature Request] Increase weekly session limits for Max plan users

Weekly session limit is being consumed much faster than before despite unchanged usage (Max Plan)

Bug Description

I have been a Claude Max ($200/month) subscriber for the past few months, and I’ve noticed a significant change in how my weekly session limit is being consumed.

My workflow and usage patterns have remained essentially the same over the past several months. Previously, with similar daily usage, I would typically reach around 50–60% of my weekly session limit by the end of the week. I had never come close to exhausting it.

However, this week, my weekly usage has already reached 80%, even though today is only Saturday and my usage has not increased.

I’m not referring to the hourly session limits. Those are working as expected. My concern is specifically with the weekly session limit, which now appears to be consumed much faster than it used to be.

As a Max subscriber, it’s frustrating that I may have to wait until next Thursday before I can continue using Claude Code, despite paying for the highest subscription tier.

Expected Behavior

With the same usage patterns as previous weeks, I would expect my weekly session consumption to remain roughly consistent rather than increasing dramatically.

If there has been a change in how weekly usage is calculated, it would be helpful to know:

  • Whether the accounting model has changed.
  • Whether this is expected behavior.
  • Or whether this could be a bug in weekly session accounting.

Actual Behavior

  • Same usage patterns as previous weeks.
  • Weekly session usage is increasing significantly faster.
  • Already at approximately 80% of the weekly limit by Saturday.
  • Previous weeks under similar usage rarely exceeded 60%.
