Bug Description

Running claude -c in Claude Code VSCode extension does load the previous session, but the terminal freezes, does not accept any input/interaction

Steps to Reproduce

1. Have Claude Code VSCode extension installed
2. Click on the Claude extension icon to open the Claude Code terminal

1. Chat whatever you like

1. Exit session via Ctrl + C

1. in the same Claude Code terminal, run claude -c

1. The previous session loads up, but freezes, does not accept input

Expected Behavior

After loading the previous session via claude -c, keep chatting normally

Actual Behavior

The UI freezes, does not accept any input
