Bug Description
I have enabled the auto-accept feature. Before updating to version 1.0.103, it was working well—I didn't have to allow each permission manually. However, after the update, I'm prompted for permissions each time, even though auto-accept is still enabled. Please resolve this issue; it's wasting a significant amount of my time. What's the purpose of having auto-accept if I have to allow permissions manually every time?

I'm having the same issue.
I'm running Windows 11, version 1.0.103 (Claude Code).
It's so inconvenient.

Embarrassing how weak their testing must be. This is causing a lot of pain.

Thank you for the bug report. We've identified the root cause: a Windows path handling bug in our permission system that was causing "accept edits on" mode to fail on Windows platforms. This regression was introduced in v1.0.103.

The fix has been included as part of v1.0.105. Please update to the latest version to resolve this issue.

Sorry for the trouble!

@Sead-world To repro can you show a video of the issue that shows the settings.local.json as it's getting updated by Claude Code?
