Images shared by the assistant in chat are not clickable or openable (macOS)

Summary

When the assistant shares image files into the conversation, they render inline, but clicking them does nothing — they cannot be opened, zoomed, or saved from the chat UI. The only way to view them was to have the assistant copy the files to ~/Desktop and open from Finder.

Steps to reproduce

1. Have the assistant share an image file into the conversation.
2. The image renders inline as a thumbnail/preview.
3. Click the image.

Expected

Clicking opens / zooms / lets me save the image (or opens it in a viewer).

Actual

Nothing happens; the image cannot be opened or saved from chat.

Workaround

The assistant copies the file to a known path (e.g. ~/Desktop) and the user opens it from Finder.
