[BUG] System reminder causes Claude to create a workflow for a one-line bugfix.

Open 💬 0 comments Opened Jun 23, 2026 by S-Luiten

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Using the word 'ultracode' in the prompt introduces a system reminder: "The user included the keyword 'ultracode' … use the Workflow tool to fulfill the request.". The user was complaining about a previous "ultracode" session not surfacing an obvious bugfix; it had nothing to do with the user wanting claude to launch a workflow, yet it did.

What Should Happen?

Claude should understand the context in which the "ultracode" keyword is used and ignore the system reminder when the task is a single one-line bugfix.
