[BUG] - Switching between two accounts (logout + login) in Claude Code Desktop takes several hours to complete.

What Should Happen?

Describe the bug
Switching between two accounts (logout + login) in Claude Code Desktop takes several hours to complete.
Steps to reproduce

1. Be logged into Account A in Claude Code Desktop
2. Log out
3. Attempt to log in with Account B
4. Login hangs / takes several hours

Expected behavior
Account switching should complete within seconds or a few minutes at most.
Environment

• Claude Code version: v2.1.185
• macOS: 15.6 Sequoia (Build 24G84)

Additional context
This only happens when switching between accounts. First-time login is not affected.
