Long statusline is truncated with `…` instead of wrapping to multiple lines (regression)

When a custom statusline (example) is wider than the terminal, an earlier version of Claude Code wrapped it onto multiple lines so everything stayed visible. The current version (2.1.185) truncates it with … and the overflow is lost.

Environment: macOS, terminal narrower than the statusline.
