[Bug] Model silently switches from 1M to non-1M Opus mid-session, causing unrecoverable API Error

Bug Description
For reasons I cannot understand, from time to time my model gets switched in the background for non-1m opus. This manifests as me seeing "API Error" with no explanation and no way to circumvent it other than kill the session and start over in a new session, --resume doesn't work. The only thing I notice is that when I kill the session and then --resume it, I'm suddenly on non-1m opus, for reasons I cannot understand. I have not touched the model, yet it suddenly changes and irreversably screws things up
