Summary: a tool call to an HTTP-transport MCP server hung the client indefinitely with no client-side timeout and no recovery. Suggested fixes: add a configurable client-side timeout for MCP tool calls, and detect/re-initialize a dropped HTTP MCP session instead of hanging.
