Persist sessions in Claude Code

This is a feature request. I am loving Claude Code but wish that sessions could be saved to a local file and restored. Being able to just pick back up from a session history would be a big improvement. Perhaps start showing a list of past chats in the current project so I can pick up where a session left off.
