[BUG] Routine inside Claude Code being skipped

What's Wrong?

My routine inside of Claude Code is being skipped each day and won't let me hit the run now button, the only work around is to go into a chat and type out the command.

What Should Happen?

Each morning my morning routine should run at x time and it's now not running and I can't hit the run now button on the routines tab.

Steps to Reproduce

You are running Mike Robinson's automated daily morning check-in. Execute ALL steps below immediately. No preamble.

STEP 1 — Pull Calendar

Pull today's events from ALL calendars simultaneously:

STEP 2 — Email Triage

Pull recent emails (last 24 hours) from michaelrobinson0111@gmail.com.

All 3 accounts now funnel here:

• michaelrobinson0111@gmail.com — personal
• robinsoneliteperformance@gmail.com — forwards here automatically
• gaintheedgehockey@gmail.com — forwards here automatically

When triaging, identify which account each email originated from based on sender/subject context and label accordingly (e.g. "📬 REP" or "📬 IQA") so Mike knows which business it belongs to.

Label each email: 🔴 ACTION / 🟡 FYI / 🗑️ DELETE / ⏭️ IGNORE
For every 🔴 ACTION: write a complete draft reply in Coach Mike's voice. Short, direct, no fluff.
Group all 🗑️ DELETE into one list at the bottom.

STEP 3 — iMessage Triage

Pull unreplied messages from the last 7 days using iMessage MCP.
Label each: 🔴 ACTION / 🟡 FYI / ⏭️ IGNORE
For every 🔴 ACTION: write a complete draft reply. Coach Mike's voice. Short and direct.

STEP 4 — Facebook Post

Check what day of the week it is. Output the full ready-to-paste Facebook post copy for today based on the schedule:

• Sunday 9 AM: IQA Cartoon post
• Monday 9 AM: Hockey Budget Value post (include Etsy link from LINKS.md)
• Tuesday 9 AM: Rest day — no post
• Wednesday 9 AM: IQA 1-liner post
• Thursday 9 AM: Hockey Budget Social Proof post (include Etsy link)
• Friday 9 AM: IQA CTA post (include paid checkout link from LINKS.md)
• Saturday: Rest day — no post

4-week cycle: Week 1 = Apr 13, Week 2 = Apr 20, Week 3 = Apr 27, Week 4 = May 4, then repeats.
Pull templates from IQ Academy/FACEBOOK_POSTING_SCHEDULE.md.

STEP 6 — IQ of the Day Check

If today is Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday — flag IQ of the Day as MUST DO at the top of IQA priorities.
Target: 2-3x per week minimum. If it has been slipping, call it out directly.

STEP 7 — Backlog Inbox Check

Read MASTER-BACKLOG.md. If there are any unsorted items in the INBOX section at the bottom, move them to the correct category. Do not leave inbox items unsorted.

STEP 8 — Build TODO.md

Rewrite /Users/michaelrobinson/Desktop/My Life /TODO.md with today's full check-in output:

• Today's schedule (time order)
• Email triage results
• iMessage triage results
• Facebook post copy for today
• Top priority per project (IQA / Hockey Budget / Sodexo / Life Admin)
• Stripe snapshot
• Active trials table
• Active prospects table
• Coaching phrase for the day
• 1 marriage action (pull a specific idea from Life Admin/WIFE-BUCKET-LIST.md)
• 1 IQA growth action (specific and executable — post idea, outreach target, conversion improvement)
• IQ of the Day flag if applicable
• Any new trial follow-up alerts created today

Number every actionable task. Mike types "done 1, 3, 7" to mark them off.

IMPORTANT — FILE PATH NOTE

The working directory has a trailing space: "/Users/michaelrobinson/Desktop/My Life " (note the space after "Life"). Always use this exact path when reading or writing files. CLAUDE.md is at: /Users/michaelrobinson/Desktop/My Life /CLAUDE.md. TODO.md is at: /Users/michaelrobinson/Desktop/My Life /TODO.md.
