What's Wrong?
Claude desktop shows "requires a more recent installation" message even after a fresh reinstall of the latest version (1.13576.0) when I want to switch to Cowork. The Cowork tab is inaccessible. A colleague on the same version faces the same issue.

What Should Happen?
After installing the latest version of Claude for windows, Cowork should be accessible without prompting for reinstallation.
Error Messages/Logs
No error log surfaced. The app displays a dialog: "Cowork requires a more recent installation. Reinstall the desktop app to access Cowork and start delegating longer tasks." with a "Reinstall" button. Clicking it and reinstalling does not resolve the issue.
Steps to Reproduce
- Download and install the latest Claude Code for Windows from claude.com/download
- Open the app and navigate to the Cowork tab
- A dialog appears: "Cowork requires a more recent installation"
- Click "Reinstall", download and reinstall the app
- Reopen the app — the same dialog appears again
