  • [x] This is a single feature request (not multiple features)

Problem Statement

I often have to work with projects with subprojects in different folders. I asked Claude how to see the Claude Code history and it told me that currently the only thing I could do within VS Code was the current project's chat history.
Codex shows unified history between different projects, which is very convenient.
From Claude:
"This is worth submitting as a feature request at github.com/anthropics/claude-code/issues — a "show all projects" toggle in the history panel would be a straightforward and useful addition"

Proposed Solution

"Show all projects" toggle in the history panel would be a straightforward and useful addition, according to Claude Code.

Alternative Solutions

Claude Code suggested workarrounds but they are cumbersome and I am not going to use them.
