[Feature Request] Support model upgrade/downgrade notifications and explicit model selection

Bug Description
This chat has been "downgraded" to Opus from Fable. Why? Just curious.
A bit more on the chat/session: I was working with a /zotero skill that uses read-only SQLite access for convenience (easier searches).
Having a really hard time why this might be problematic and warrants the downgrade ..
