Problem Statement

When I see Claude code displaying how many tokens it is using I freak out, wondering, how much does that cost? Obviously this feature was developed from a developer's perspective, not the end user. The concept and verbiage of 'Token' is so geeky and requires the user to remember mentally the fee schedule for token usage.

Proposed Solution

Keep token verbiage and concept internally, when displaying usage to a user realtime say 45.1% of your daily limit has been used, or cost .0007%, or just don't display it at all and replace with what you currently have - the notification where a notification pops up saying 95% of your daily limit has been reached, with more often such messages - replace the amount of tokens used with .007% of your limit has been used, or something other than this crazy token business
