What You Asked Claude to Do

Claude Sonnet 4.6 via Claude Code advised me to bridge the 3.3V and 5V pins on JP3 of a Dragino LoRa/GPS HAT connected to a Raspberry Pi 4. This shorted the 3.3V and 5V rails, potentially destroying the MxL7704 PMIC. The agent itself acknowledged the mistake and confirmed the bad advice. I am requesting compensation for the damaged hardware. Screenshots of the incident are attached.

What Claude Actually Did

  1. research the accesorie interface
  2. do a direct recomendation even a diagram in ascii how to put a jumper to short the 5v and 3v
  3. insisting on the current will fix the problem
  4. Raspberry pi failure.

Pleae note via Agent Mode allways Claude Code do the administrative task on the raspberry pi 4.
