[BUG] Copy/paste completely broken on Ubuntu 24 with Ubuntu Terminal and Asbru - even in fullscreen mode

What's Wrong?

Text selection and copy is completely non-functional while Claude is running (but works again after exiting). Right-click Copy is greyed out even with Shift held during selection. Middle-click does nothing. Ctrl+Shift+C does nothing. This affects both the standard and fullscreen rendering modes.

What Should Happen?

Text should be selectable and copyable as documented.

Steps to Reproduce

Shift + mouse select → Copy greyed out in context menu
Middle-click paste → does not work
Ctrl+Shift+C → does not work
Installing xclip → no change
CLAUDE_CODE_NO_FLICKER=1 fullscreen mode → still broken
stty sane after exit → terminal state is fine, problem is only during Claude Code session
