[BUG] Plan mode indicator: ⏸ emoji renders too close to "plan" label text

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened Jun 2, 2026 by kheaton-nice Closed Jun 6, 2026

Platform

Windows and WSL (likely all Linux terminals)

Description

The ⏸ pause emoji in the plan mode indicator renders with insufficient spacing before the "plan" label, making them appear visually cramped or overlapping depending on how the terminal renders the emoji width.

Current display: ⏸ plan (emoji and text too close)

Expected display: A clear visible space between the emoji and the word, e.g. ⏸ plan

This appears consistent across both Windows and WSL environments, suggesting it affects all terminal environments.
