What's Wrong?
I am unable to verify my phone number and log in to Claude Code despite having an active paid Claude subscription.
My email address was verified successfully, and I purchased the subscription using my Visa card. However, when I attempt to verify my phone number (+998 97 222 07 19), I receive the error:
"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes before trying again."
The issue continues even after waiting and trying again.
In addition, when I try to sign in to Claude Code using my Claude subscription account, the login process fails with:
"Request failed with status code 400"
As a result, I cannot access and use Claude Code even though my subscription is active and paid.
What Should Happen?
I should be able to verify my phone number and access Claude Code normally using my active paid account.
After entering my phone number (+998 97 222 07 19), I should receive a verification code and complete the verification process successfully.
Since I have already paid for Claude services (Invoice LQ8NPIOZ-0001, Amount Paid: $5.60 on June 2, 2026), my account should be recognized as an active customer and I should be able to log in to Claude Code without receiving the error "Request failed with status code 400". :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
Expected behavior:
- Phone verification code is sent successfully.
- Phone number verification completes successfully.
- Claude Code authentication completes successfully.
- Claude Code becomes accessible through my paid account without errors.

Error Messages/Logs
Phone Verification Error:
"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes before trying again."
Claude Code Login Error:
"Request failed with status code 400"
Additional Context:
- Email verification completed successfully.
- Active Claude subscription purchased and paid.
- Phone number: +998 97 222 07 19.
- Unable to complete phone verification.
- Unable to access Claude Code despite having an active paid account.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to https://claude.ai and sign in with my email account.
- Verify the email address successfully.
- Purchase a Claude subscription using a Visa card.
- Attempt to verify the phone number: +998 97 222 07 19.
- Click "Send verification code".
- The system displays the error:
"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes before trying again."
- Wait and retry the verification process.
- The same error continues to appear and phone verification cannot be completed.
- Install and open Claude Code.
- Choose the option to log in using a Claude subscription account.
- Complete the browser authentication flow.
- Return to Claude Code after authentication.
- Claude Code fails to log in and displays:
"Request failed with status code 400"
Expected Result:
- Verification code should be sent successfully.
- Phone number verification should complete successfully.
- Claude Code should authenticate and open normally for the paid account.
Actual Result:
- Phone verification repeatedly fails with "Too many attempts".
- Claude Code login fails with "Request failed with status code 400".
- Unable to use Claude Code despite having an active paid subscription.

I have an active paid Anthropic account and successfully completed payment on June 2, 2026. A copy of the payment receipt and invoice is attached.

Additional observations:
- Email verification completed successfully.
- Phone verification fails with the message:
"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes before trying again."
- Claude Code login fails with:
"Request failed with status code 400"
- The Claude Code extension is installed in VS Code (version 2.1.160).
- Claude Desktop is installed (version 1.9659.2.0).
- The
claudecommand is not available in Command Prompt or PowerShell: claude -v→ command not foundwhere.exe claude→ no files found- Because of these issues, I cannot access Claude Code despite having a paid account.
