[Bug] Auto-compact triggered during commit skill causes context limit errors

Question

**Bug Description**
long ran task starts to compact when i do the commit skill, this is tedious since i didn't ask to compact the conversation and it fails often with "Context limit reached · /compact or /clear to continue"
