[BUG] Unable to copy `%PDF-1.6` text
Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened May 31, 2026 by skerit Closed Jul 3, 2026
Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
One of my outputs contained this line:
2. Decoded to disk — exactly 1945 bytes, valid `%PDF-1.6` header and `%%EOF` trailer (integrity check passed).
When I did /copy or I manually selected it (in flicker-free mode) it would NOT copy to my clipboard. In fact the clipboard became empty. So anything that was in there, was removed.
I can manually select & copy anything _before_ and _after_ the %PDF-1.6 text, but if it includes it the copy will not work.
What Should Happen?
It should just copy it into the clipboard

Steps to Reproduce
Have that line in your output, try to copy it, fail
