## Description Typing in the Claude Code VSCode extension chat input feels laggy/delayed. Every keystroke has noticeable input lag, making it uncomfortable to type longer messages. ## Steps to Reproduce 1. Open VSCode with Claude Code extension installed 2. Steps to Reproduce

Open VSCode with Claude Code extension installed
Open the Claude Code chat panel
Start typing a message in the input box

Expected Behavior

Keystrokes should be reflected immediately with no lag.

Actual Behavior

Keystroke input feels delayed/laggy inside the VSCode extension chat input box.

Additional Context

No lag when using the same model (claude-sonnet-4-6) via claude in the terminal
Issue appears to be specific to the VSCode extension UI layer
