What's Wrong?

Cowork crashes every time I start a new chat or attempt to continue an existing one in any project. The error displayed is: "Claude Code è andato in crash."

Regular Claude chat works fine, the issue is Cowork only.

Environment

• OS: macOS Tahoe 26.3.1
• Hardware: MacBook, Apple M2
• Claude Desktop version: 1.9255.2 (1dc8f7)

Troubleshooting Already Attempted

• Full uninstall and reinstall of Claude Desktop
• Cleared ~/Library/Application Support/Claude (folder was empty)
• Verified regular chat works fine

Additional Notes
Crash is 100% reproducible across all projects, every single attempt.

What Should Happen?

Cowork should start and accept messages without crashing.
