[Feature Request] Add precache expiry hook to enable proactive compaction before token eviction

Question

**Bug Description**
A precache expiry hook would be amazing so I could compact before tokens are evicted.  I'm trying to avoid the full cost to reload the context the next day.  Even better, make this an automatic option.
