Preflight Checklist
- [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
- [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
- [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code
What's Wrong?
Today's update (version 2.1.152) on MacOS asked for permissions in this popup:
<img width="278" height="282" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/e3188409-d6e2-4dcc-a6d8-2c04e35d5468" />
Text version:
“2.1.152” wants access to control “Terminal.app”. Allowing control will provide access to documents and data in “Terminal.app”, and to perform actions within that app.
What Should Happen?
Application name in the popup should be "Claude Code v2.1.152" or something clear to understand who's asking.
