[BUG] Cannot login on Linux dev environment due to callback error (its not producing the code to paste)

What's Wrong?

Trying to login to claude code on a linux machine that dont have a browser. Normally you copy the URL, open on local machine, verify, copy the code and paste into claude on the linux machine

But this it not working anymore, now it just says

"Authorization failed

Redirect URI https://platform.claude.com/oauth%2 Fcode/callback is not supported by client."

Instead of producing the login code

What Should Happen?

Gimme the code instead of failing

Install claude code as normal

Pick "Login to claude account"
Copy URL presented
Put into browser on local machine
Wait for code thats never coming
