[BUG] Button hidden behind X button in Cowork connector tool calls sidebar (macOS)

Resolved 💬 1 comment Opened May 27, 2026 by augustoFranke Closed Jun 27, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

In the Claude for Mac desktop app (Cowork/Chat mode — not Claude Code CLI), when the sidebar showing connector tool calls is open and focused, the X (close) button overlaps another UI button behind it.

See attached screenshot.

What Should Happen?

Both buttons should be visible and individually clickable with no overlap. The X (close) button and the button behind it should be properly positioned so neither obscures the other.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Claude for Mac desktop app
  2. 2. Navigate to the Cowork tab and start a chat
  3. 3. Trigger a connector tool call so the sidebar appears
  4. 4. Focus the sidebar
  5. 5. Observe the X (close) button area — another button is visually hidden behind it
