[BUG] ConnectionRefused issue. Can't use AI at all on a PAID plan !

What's Wrong?

Before I installed claude (2 months ago) and I deleted after when I quit my job (using the bash commands on the official documentation). Then today I bought a new subscription and installed claude-code to realize it doesn't work at all on this computer. Yet on my laptop where I installed claude for the first time ever here it works...

It seems the issue comes in uninstalling claude, I guess. I deleted:

• ~/.claude.json
• ~/.claude/
• ~/.config/claude/
• ~/.local/bin/claude
• ~/.local/share/claude/
• ~/.local/state/claude/

Reinstalled claude I it still doesn't work. Btw, I don't have any keyring installed on this computer, nor bun.

Error Messages/Logs

`Unable to connect to API (ConnectionRefused)` for 10 times (takes 3m) and then fails with an error.

Steps to Reproduce

Use claude in a terminal and type anything anywhere. ON ALL MODELS.

Additional Information

The terminal app I use is Konsole. But I get the same error with Ghostty and even in the TTY. So it's not related to that.
