[BUG] Navigation to this domain is not allowed -- Does not ask permission/does not go away on restart

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

When I try to run a skill that edits something in the browser via Chrome MCP I get this error "Navigation to this domain is not allowed". I am not denying any permissions and there is nothing on the websites that would be causing this block. The error is intermittent and does not happen to anyone else at my organization running this shared skill. Restarting Chrome/Claude does not have any impact. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the browser extension/turned on and off Chrome MCP permissions.

What Should Happen?

Claude should navigate the browser as asked.
