What's Wrong?

Hi,

I am getting the following error on Claude.ai and Claude Cowork Desktop:

tools.69.FrontendRemoteMcpToolDefinition.name: String should match pattern '^[a-zA-Z0-9_-]{1,64}$'

The error does not appear on the Claude Chrome extension or the Claude mobile app, only on claude.ai in the browser and on the Cowork Desktop app.

I have already tried the following with no resolution:

  • Disconnecting and removing the Meta Ads MCP (Model Context Protocol) custom connector
  • Toggling off all connectors
  • Hard refreshing the browser
  • Checking the local Claude Desktop config file (claude_desktop_config.json), which is clean

I have been troubleshooting this with Claude AI itself and we have been unable to resolve it. I would like to escalate this to a human support agent.

My account is on the Max plan.

Thank you,
Eduardo Rocha
