CoWork workspace fails to start — "VM service not running" after restart

What's Wrong?

Steps to reproduce:

Open a CoWork project in Claude Code (desktop app)
The workspace fails to start automatically
Troubleshooting already attempted:

Environment:

OS: Windows 11 Pro (10.0.22621)
Claude Code: desktop app
Project type: CoWork (pipeline integration project)

What Should Happen?

Actual behavior: VM service fails to start every time.

Error Messages/Logs

VM service not running. The service failed to start" en proyecto CoWork

Steps to Reproduce

Restarted the Claude desktop app — issue persists
Restarted the computer — issue persists
Expected behavior: The CoWork workspace starts successfully.
