[BUG] Can't cmd-click links in claude agents

Resolved 💬 2 comments Opened May 14, 2026 by TobySuch Closed May 14, 2026

Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

In the new claude agents screen, I cannot cmd-click links to open in my browser. In a regular session, when a link is generated (for example a pull request url), I can cmd-click a link to open in my browser, but doing that when viewing a session from the agents view does nothing.

What Should Happen?

It should open the link in my browser.

Error Messages/Logs

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open a regular claude code session
  2. Have it generate a link (for example a pull request link)
  3. See you can cmd-click it
  4. Run /bg and then open the agents view claude agents
  5. View the session through this screen
  6. See you cannot cmd-click the same link

Claude Model

Not sure / Multiple models

Is this a regression?

No, this never worked

N.B. This still works in regular sessions, but I don't think it has ever worked in agents view, hence my answer here.

Last Working Version

_No response_

Claude Code Version

2.1.141 (Claude Code)

Platform

Anthropic API

Operating System

macOS

Terminal/Shell

Terminal.app (macOS)

Additional Information

Using Ghostty primarily but confirmed it also affects the Terminal.app so I assume this is a general issue, not an issue with Ghostty.
