[BUG] Claude Desktop Windows — Code tab crashes within seconds on fresh install (no sessions, no connectors)

What's Wrong?

Claude Desktop version: 1.6608.2 ebf1a1
Win 11 2FH2
Fresh install, signed in, click Code tab → crashes within ~5 seconds
Chat tab works fine, only Code tab affected
Already tried: wiped IndexedDB/Local Storage/Session Storage/Partitions/blob_storage, full uninstall with package folder removal + reboot + reinstall — issue persists
No relevant entries in Windows Event Viewer Application log
Crashpad dump available

Claude should open without crashing
