Preflight Checklist

  • [x] I have searched existing issues and this hasn't been reported yet
  • [x] This is a single bug report (please file separate reports for different bugs)
  • [x] I am using the latest version of Claude Code

What's Wrong?

Claude Code v2.1.126 automatically runs /pro-trial-expired on startup and displays "Your Claude Code trial has ended", blocking all usage — despite having an active, paid Claude Pro subscription.

The welcome screen correctly identifies the account as "Claude Pro", but immediately after, the trial-expired screen appears and prevents normal use.

What Should Happen?

Claude Code should recognize the active Claude Pro subscription and allow normal usage, as it did previously.

Additional Information

This appears to be a known subscription-recognition bug also reported in #54550 (Windows, v2.1.119). This confirms the issue is cross-platform and present in newer versions.
